How did honey get there, so well placed in a glass jar on a shelf in the shops? Sometimes it is given by fact that honey comes in jars and the true work of art of Mother Nature is not valued. Since, in the preparation of natural honey, the hand of man hardly intervenes.
Honey absorption. Bees absorb with their tongue the nectar of the flowers they visit, store it in their car and return to the hive. In the hive, they give honey to the young working bees.
Transformation of nectar into honey. Once the workers' bees have received the nectar they get to work to transform it into honey. This transformation process can last several days, depending on various factors such as humidity and external temperature. It is important during this process to reduce the water content of the nectar from 70% to about 17%.
Throughout the nectar dehydration process, moisture loss is used to refrigerate the bee hive, air currents are created that always keep the temperature of the breeding nest constant.
Nectar transfer. While the process of transforming nectar to honey takes place, thousands of young bees that have not yet left the hive pass the nectar to one another. By passing the nectar between them, they get to enrich it with tops that they themselves segregate.
Once the cells are filled with honey, it can stay in perfect consumption conditions for many years.
Honey extraction. Honey is extracted by centrifugation of the paintings without breaking the wax cells, and these can be reused. This is an energy saving for bees, since by not having to generate new cells, they can be fully dedicated to other work of the hive. In addition, it entails greater cleaning in extraction and increased production of honey.
Once the honey has been extracted, you have to filter it and let it rest so you can remove all its impurities before carrying out the packaging.
Marketing. Once the honey has been extracted, it is already ready for marketing. Natural honey is also packaged through natural processes to preserve all its properties. It is made in vacuum jars or even in jars sealed with the bees wax itself. More natural? Impossible.
The elaboration of honey is the fruit of Mother Nature, unique and exclusively. It is a completely natural process in which no external factors intervene. In ANAE Miel is produced, packaged and distributed all kinds of best quality poultry products since 1979. It has been adapting to market changes, without losing sight as a company, or its identity as a cooperative.
