Baïa Food, startup of the agrifood sector dedicated to R & D+i and to the marketing of organic products of high nutritional content, has launched its new Plant Protein line, with 100% plant-based protein, lactose-free, gluten-free, added sugars, artificial sweeteners, and free of additives and allergens, which represents a healthy alternative to animal protein supplements.
The new range, already available in your online shop, it is presented in four varieties that incorporate organic superfoods such as açai, macao, cocoa and matcha tea, which besides providing a pleasant taste, complement the nutritional properties of the protein, functionalizing it. The result is a fast absorption and light digestion vegetable protein, with good taste and pleasant texture.
This new line has been officially presented at the international fair Organic Food Iberia, recently held in Madrid, where the Plant Protein Organic Açai variety has won in the category of ‘Best organic innovative product Free-From (vegetarian, gluten free, lactose, etc.)’ de los Eco & Organic Awards Iberia 2019which recognize the innovation, originality and quality of ecological and natural products.
The Plant Protein formula is based on a composition of natural protein of peas (amino acids in BCAAs, which increase muscle mass) and rice (regulates blood glucose and favors recovery), at a minimum percentage of 70%. It is complemented by the properties of açai (antioxidant, improves sports performance and regulates cholesterol), maca (energizing, regulating sleep and helping to manage stress), cocoa (improves cardiovascular health and prevents aging) and matcha tea (energizing, favors fat burning).
