Enough sleep: On an average level, any individual needs at least 8 hours of sleep on a regular basis. As it is during summer, the body tends to get tired very easily and on top of that, if the sleep is less than the normal needs of the body, then it becomes totally exhausting for the body. The concentration level becomes very poor and one does not get energy to continue with the work on a normal level. Hence enough sleep is the basic requirement for boosting energy in summer.
Small, frequent meals: Most medical experts have the same opinion that while infrequent meals can leave an individual tired and hungry, large meals can take away the energy to perform other things. Energy drink: There are many types of energy drinks that can be consumed during summer season to make one feel hydrated and energetic. Squeeze half a lemon and a spoonful of sugar to a glass of water. Add a pinch of salt to it. Mix the mixture thoroughly and drink it. This mixture provides us with instant energy. The water and salt that have gone away from the body due to sweating, are replaced with the intake of this drink. Sugar helps in providing us with energy that is lost due to summer heat.
Coffee and sugar: While caffeine has the power of providing initial rush of energy by activating the stress hormones, intake of too much caffeine can cause excess burnt out of energy. Hence one must always avoid excess tea and coffee. Again, excess sugar can lead to a fluctuation in blood sugar levels that can lead to plunging in energy level. Hence intake of excess sugar must be invariably avoided.
