“Cryolipolisis is a completely painless process; in fact, many patients relax by reading a book while the treatment lasts. There is no need for any anesthesia product, not even topical, and the only thing the patient can notice is a feeling of tension at the beginning of the session due to the team's suction over the tissue we should treat. The anesthetic effect of the cold makes this discomfort last a few minutes,” explains Astoreca.
Quick recovery and permanent results
Another attraction of criolipolisis is that it does not require a process of prolonged recovery or special care; neither does it lower labor or rest. The patient can rejoin his or her daily life immediately and perform his or her activity completely normal.
On the other hand, the results begin to be visible approximately 15 days after treatment. However, this will depend on the number of sessions to be applied, a given factor based on the amount of fat to be removed. On average no more than two or three sessions are required, leaving a space between them for approximately two months. These results are permanent, since the number of fat cells is considerably reduced in the treatment area.
Considerations of criolipolisis
