On March 23, a new program of Sommelier de Té is launched by Victoria Bisogno, where participants will be able to acquire the necessary notions to become experts of the tastings and services of this infusion with certificate issued by El Club del Té

The great reception of previous lessons has made the leaders of El Club del Té decide to return to Spain to impart a new Sommelier course of Tea in March in the Spanish capital, which will be the prelude to a new opportunity in Barcelona in May.

The selected date for its start is March 23, 2020, with a week duration in which the classes will be from 18 to 21 hours from Monday to Friday and a final session on Saturday from 11 to 19 hours.

 

These lessons, to be held at the AC Hotel Recoletos, will be held by Victoria Bisogno, founder and president of this company, and her team of teachers.

In this way, any interested in deepening their knowledge of this millenary infusion, whether amateurs, entrepreneurs or professionals who wish to specialize in different technical and cultural aspects related to tea.

The participants will receive a tasting team with more than 30 types of tea, utensils, the book “Manual de Sommelier de Té” and other resources and materials intended for use in the classes and practical tastings that will take place.

The figure of Sommelier de Té has in the tea tastings one of its main functions. In these celebrations, this expert may describe the sensory profile of each of the tea varieties, such as basic tastes, aromas or textures in the mouth.

In addition to these capabilities, other functions of the Tea Sommelier can be distinguished:
