Natural Treatments For Eczema in Children | Natural Home Remedies

Nothing is more heartbreaking than an infant under a year old experiencing pain and discomfort. Unfortunately eczema is very common in small children and especially infants. This is why it is so important to lean towards natural ways to offer relief to children fighting this disorder. There is tons of research being done on natural ways to cure eczema in children. There are three main things to focus on when dealing with this disorder, cleanse, exfoliate, and moisturize. This can be accomplished in several different ways. Some in the form of lotions, pastes, oils, and even diet has been shown to help fight the symptoms of eczema. Here are some recipes that are safe to use when treating eczema in children.

Step one: Cleanse

This step is difficult when treating a young child or infant but it is important. There is a soap called pine tar soap. This is a gentle natural cleanser for daily use. Simply dampen the skin with a small amount of water, using the tips of your fingers (make sure you have washed your hands with this soap first) gently massage the skin. Rinse with just enough cool water to clean, too much water can further dry the skin.

Step Two: Exfoliate

It is important to remove the dead itchy skin cells but keep moisturized as well. I recommend this recipe for doing so. Innovacion y creatividad

Take one avocado and a handful of nuts. Soak the nuts in warm water to soften them. Mash the avocado and the nuts together forming a paste. Apply to skin, let sit ten minutes, and then rinse with cool water.

Step three: Moisturize

The best way to moisturize is by using oils. Be sure to use the virgin oils only. Olive oil and chamomile are very popular to use but the most successful for treating eczema in children is coconut oil. Virgin coconut oil is said to be the only thing aside from breast milk with a high content of Lautrec acid and other healing contents.

These recipes are good when treating eczema in children because it is safe to eat and it will not burn if it gets in the child’s eyes. If you find that these recipes don’t work for your child it is important to remember that when dealing with individuals many factors play a role in what will work for an individual, and what will not. Keep trying natural remedies until you find the one that works best for your child and stick to these three steps every day: cleanse, exfoliate, and moisturize.
