PROVACUNO has added to the campaign a number of well-known artists who interpret a song in which they list “with guasa” all the components that the ‘suplantagues’ brings.

PROVCUSE, Interprofessional organization of the Coat of Vacuum, continues with its campaign in which it wants to claim the use of the word “hambourgeois” only for those who carry meat. Those who don’t, “they’re something else, but they’re not burgers,” as the campaign spot says. From today, in www.buscalesunnombre.com you can enjoy a chirigota in which they are listed, singing, all the ingredients that bear the supposed suplantaguesa. That is, products that do not carry meat and are called in the same way. It can be seen in https://youtu.be/OqLWU9ra2jA.

Within the campaign Find themUnName.com, the interprofessional wants to help companies that use all kinds of ingredients when making something similar to a burger to adopt a different and creative name. To this end, more than 1,500 proposals for this type of product have already been registered on the website. A professional jury, made up of different experts in the world of burgersHe will be in charge of choosing the best name and proposing it to the European Parliament to adopt it as an alternative to the word “hambourgeois”.

The chirigota has composed and played Animarte Cadiz, group of actors and artists from Cadiz, for Provacuno. The author of The Splendid is Francisco Javier Benítez, and in the video is played by Javier Sánchez “Monano”, Alfonso Rodríguez, Mario del Valle and Kike Jiménez, who offer their fun vision of the defendants who are not meat in front of a burger with this satirical letter: Health Tips

Letra de la chirigota The Splendid
Concentrated soy protein with coconut oil and well-cultivated dextrose...
Pa’ let the bite look like meat.
And with yeast extract and antioxidant tocopherols...
When looking at her it looks like meat...
Straightened with traces of thyamine hydrochloride...
It smells like meat, but it's not meat.
...
And soy legemoglobin...
That imitates the red meat tone.
More starch with riboflavin...
Because if not, there's no one to eat it.

The video has been recorded in some of the most famous places of the Tacita de Plata, such as the Falla Theatre, a great temple of the chirigota in carnival times, as well as the Cathedral of the Santa Cruz, the beach of La Caleta or the streets of the city center.

For Eliseo Isla, president of PROVACUNO: “Although it is a campaign that seeks the complicity of the public thanks to the use of humor, it is actually a very serious matter. From the cowboy sector we see with concern how there are more and more products on the market that mix all kinds of ingredients to look like a hamburger, when Spanish law only allows to name those that are made with meat, either of cows or other types. And we wanted to remind consumers of a gaditana chirigota guasa.”

The BuscalesUnNombre.com campaign started on May 27th and during this month it will continue to march to find the perfect name for this type of product.
