How to Get Rid of Back Acne

Acne is caused when the sebaceous glands in your skin secretes excess amounts of sebum.

In normal circumstances, sebum protects the skin from bacterial infection but when it is produced in excess amount it mixes with dirt, bacteria, dead skin cells and clogs the pores resulting in that ugly spot.

But, you have more sebaceous glands in your back than any other area. Right! Acne can also occur on your back and not only your face. It becomes doubly difficult because the skin on your back is thicker than any other body parts.

Back acne can be treated by maintaining proper hygiene. Have a bath twice a day; also use medicated soaps, which will help fight off the bacteria. Also do not overuse it as it may aggravate skin irritation by drying the skin thereby leading to added breakouts.

Moreover, it is important to bathe immediately after you’ve been involved with an activity like sports where you sweat a lot more as it can mix with dirt and block the pores.

Do not use any oil based cosmetics/creams. Always look for products which are clearly stated as ‘non-comedogenic’ or ‘non-acnegenic’ i.e. those products which do not stimulate the formation of acne. Stress is another important factor which may cause acne. Blog para amantes del chocolate

Avoid junk food. Include a healthy diet which is rich in fiber in your regimen. It helps in improving your digestive system thereby improving the elimination of toxins from the body. Regular exercise and drinking a lot of water helps in eliminating impurities from the body.

You could also try some home remedies to get rid of back acne using ingredients like tomatoes, honey, curd, mint, lime etc. You could make a paste of ripe tomato, apply it on your back and wash it off after it dries. Squeeze a lime and apply the juice, using a small cotton ball, on the acne.

Let it dry, if possible keep overnight and wash. Egg whites too can be used in the same manner. The application of apricot juice on your back for about 10 minutes daily can also help in fighting acne. Exfoliating your skin too can be helpful. Also make sure not to sleep on your back as it may irritate your skin and cause inflammation.
