Empty stomach can lead to morning sickness. Pregnant ladies should change their meal pattern and take five to six small meals during the day as compared to three big meals.

Always have some snacks beside you, so that your stomach does not remain empty. Make sure that the snacks you consume are enriched with complex carbohydrates and protein.

Make sure to have plenty of rest. Try to remain away from stress. Stress and fatigue can worsen the situation of morning sickness during pregnancy.

Stay away from bad odor. This can trigger morning sickness.

Make sure to eat something light as soon as you feel that you are developing nausea.

Oily foods should be avoided. Include healthy foods in your diet like apples, yogurt, peanut butter, nuts and milk.

The stomach can be neutralized in a great way by drinking a mix of water and apple-cider-vinegar. This is a very good cure for morning sickness.

Make sure to keep your teeth and mouth clean. Brush your teeth after every meal. This would help in reducing the chances of nausea. Also, make sure that the toothpaste you use does not cause nausea sensation.

Last, but not the least, you should make sure not to eat dinner late in the night. Do not consume any heavy meal after 8:00 P.M. This would help in improving the digestive system and would also help in keeping you fit during your pregnancy period.
