The first weekend of July, the IFEVI fairground in Vigo will host the second edition of Vegana 2022, the largest vegan fair in Europe. Today the organization has presented its programming, which offers more than 40 activities.

Talks, round tables, showcookingsconcerts, film sessions, yoga classes and even an original event (speed dating) for vegan people, among other activities, will happen without interruption every day from opening to closing.

18 talks about activism, nutrition or animal rights
The stage “Charlas” will gather during the three days leading vegan professionals and activists in defense of animals such as the journalist Paula González, CEO of The Vegan Agency; Verónica Larco, director of ProVeg Spain; Laura Jiménez, of the Spanish Vegetarian Union; Borja Monzó, of V-Label;US nutritionists León Maika López and Natalia Albino, of Nutrisalud

Among the essential quotations are the “café with Macu, vegana since 1979”, or the round table that will deepen the need to incorporate vegan menus in the school eaters, in which representatives of the FOANPAS and ESVECO platforms will participate together with Izaskun Unibaso and Rocío Cano. Another of the strong dishes of the fair is the gastronomic offer, which will surprise the attendees through the exhibitors, the food trucks and an intense programme showcookings —with final tasting—that will go hand in hand with renowned kitchen professionals such as Gerson Iglesias, Míriam Fabà, Matías González, Álex Pirla, Natalia Rey, Andrés Otero, Cholo García, Aida Lídice, Gabriel López, Iván Iglesias or Lidia González. In company of innovative brands such as Violife, Heura, NaturGreen, Conasi, Guimarana, Gudi, La Cuchara Verde, Algamar or Tata.

Children's area, leisure and a vegan “Tinder”
The little ones will also enjoy the fair in a complete children's area divided into three large spaces in which free cooking workshops (“Mini Vegan Chef”) will be offered, storytelling, ceramic, agroecology, pins, creation of natural dyes, botanical pacemakers, comics and a reading space.

Yoga classes, makeup, plants and games for all ages, such as the “Vegan Tinder”, a fast dating program presented by Lorena Izquierdo and Jenny Rodriguez, or the “Skeirrum”, an activity that will turn the fairground into a huge game board full of puzzles and mysteries. There will also be no lack of social cinema or concerts, offered by the singer and songwriter Luis Carrillo, the vigose singer and composer Ronseya, and the groups Nós and The Hendersons.
