Just as you would do it at home: without preservatives or additives and with the highest quality and juicy.
The Andalusian ovo-producer is one of the leading companies in the production of high quality egg and, faithful to its philosophy of developing healthy products with total excellence and avoiding ultraprocessing (conservative), has developed these tortillas that only include 100% natural products from the hand of the partner As in House, specialized in home food. Both partners will market it jointly under the brand OvoPlus.
The tortillas are made with OvoPlus, the first liquid egg for domestic use, created and marketed also by Alvarez Camacho, which can be found in supermarket linears since last year and therefore benefits from the advantages of this by containing 70% less cholesterol and 45% less calories than ordinary eggs.
A tortilla premium which will be available in two sizes (200 and 600 grams for supermarkets and domestic use and in different ultra-free formats for hospitality), vacuum packed without ultraprocessing (without preservatives) and ready to consume with all the flavor and quality of a traditional tortilla of potatoes as juicy as you would at home. Just a few drops of oil, a few minutes back and forth in the pan or microwave and the dish.
“By quality, texture, color and flavor, we can say that it is the best tortilla of the market and the only one that carries authentic egg. Our tortillas are not ultraprocessed, that is, they do not have preservatives that can be identified as harmful to the human being, according to guidelines of the nutritionists that we follow at the foot of the letter”, says Jordi Mas, general director of the Grupo Álvarez Camacho.
“Even though we can present the tortillas in different formats, vacuum, dish or box, we have been committed to investing to the maximum quality of the products used, with special importance to the percentage of egg that has the tortilla, with the objective that a single, premium product, be affordable for all audiences,” says Alvaro Sáenz, CEO of Como at Casa.
The revolutionary tortilla of potatoes of Álvarez Camacho is sold fresh for the channel foodservice and ultra-freeze for the Horeca canal. Depending on the marketing format, it is preserved between 35 and 45 days in fresco or up to two years in ultrafreeze.
According to the nutrition labelling system chosen by Spain to provide users with clearer information, a conventional pre-coccinated tortilla has the Nutriscore C, while the Unique OvoPlus tortilla reaches the Nutriscore A, equivalent to the highest possible nutritional quality. Nutriscore is the scale that values (using letters of the A -maximum note- to the E -minimum-) salt levels, saturated fats, proteins and lipids more or less healthy in food and that will be mandatory from January 2022.
The Unique Potato Tortilla OvoPlus has also begun to market in France with enormous success.
In addition to producing and marketing eggs, OvoPlus and now the tortillas of potatoes, the Grupo Álvarez Cama♪ produces and sells in Portugal and France with great acceptance the famous You guys. of nata, also made with Ovoplus, with 50% less calories, 8% more protein and 30% less fat. In short, these cupcakes will also be marketed in ultra-freeze Spain.
