  • Drink lots of water: High blood pressure is sometimes caused due to chronic dehydration. When the body gets a limited supply of water, it tries to conserve that amount by constricting the blood vessels. The water is conserved but causes the blood pressure to rise. Thus, you should drink lot of water and keep your body completely hydrated to avoid high blood pressure.
