Herbalife Nutrition, together with ESIC and Praxis MMT, has conducted a survey of 558 teachers to know what they think about the education of the young Spanish. The knowledge of basic personal finance planning and management should be a priority for young people, according to 74.6 per cent of the teachers surveyed. Vigowheels and LAC, simulated companies created by young Galicians rose with the victory at the end of Business Talents and Young Business Talents, respectively

According to the VIII Young Business Talent Report: The teacher's vision of the situation of education in Spain, carried out by ESIC, Herbalife Nutrition and Praxis MMT, more than 90% (92.7 per cent) of respondents think that teaching economic and corporate issues should be mandatory. The priority, according to the report, is that knowledge such as basic personal finance planning and management (74.6 per cent).

Providing students with basic financial planning and management skills is not only applicable to the future of their work, but also acquiring these knowledge can be of use in their personal life. These basic skills can include budgeting, the creation of a financial risk management strategy, or responsible consumption skills, savings and expenses.

These skills will make students more independent, analytical and resolutive adults, which will be a great added value for their professional future, regardless of what this is. The teachers also indicate that they consider their students will be forced to develop new skills to launch their own professional projects (55%).

To teach these business skills 98.6 per cent of teachers believe that practical training is essential in classrooms about the world of companies that complements the theoretical part of teaching. A good tool that can be applied, and that 937% of teachers value positively, is the use of simulators for financial training, as they can practically learn to manage money.

Entrepreneurship and youth
Although the data of Global Entrepreneurship Monitor (GEM) 20-21 indicate that the age bracket less interested in undertaking is the one that ranges from 18 to 29, the educated teachers are optimistic with the entrepreneurial potential of the students. They believe that students have good reasons to undertake, such as being able to do what they like, to be their own bosses, to be able to guarantee a job or to freely dispose of their time, without relying on an office schedule. Sectors that believe that they will be those in which young people undertake understand from the technological sector to health and safety, although they do not believe that in the near future there will be less employment on behalf of others. Herbalife Nutrition proposed to the participants an activity in which, through an interactive platform, they should define with terms and ideas what entrepreneurship means to them. Effort, creativity, leadership, constancy or team were the most repeated words by young people, one more example of the positive vision that future entrepreneurs have.
