The establishment located in Llívia intends to reopen its doors during the month of June
Spain has initiated the process of gradually dismantling the extraordinary measures of mobility restriction and social contact to date. After many weeks of uncertainty, many businesses in the hospitality industry begin to see the light at the end of the tunnel. Some of them have already opened their doors, and others finish their reopening for the next dates. One of them is the Esquirol Restaurant in Llivia, which envisages opening its doors in June. “We are working on a daily basis, following all the security measures of the health authorities on the coronavirus, so that the service and care of our customers is 100% safe at the reopening of the restaurant. Therefore, we are establishing new measures of prevention and hygiene, in order to guarantee the full protection of our customers and staff”, says Edu Vidal, manager of the Hotel Esquirol.
Security and prevention measures
“Our restaurant has a high customer traffic all year round, and therefore we must extreme precautions, to prevent the presence or transmission of coronavirus cases. Therefore, we will intensify the daily cleaning and disinfection tasks of the common spaces, and of the elements that are likely to be caught or used frequently.” In this sense, the restaurant will install in the dining room a air purification and disinfection machine, which will operate 24 hours a day. The restaurant will also provide a maximum capacity to ensure physical distance, limiting the groupings of customers to up to 10 people per table. “We will organize reservations in a step-by-step way to prevent clients from coming at the same time, and thus allow social distance between different reservations,” says the manager of the establishment.
Specific measures in room
The Restaurant Esquirol it will install disinfectant gel dispensers both on tables for customers, and at the entrance of the dining room. It will also implement the use of disposable cards, to reduce physical contact, and remove from tables self-service products such as oils, vinagreras or napkins. All staff will also use masks during the service.
