The event, which this year will be presently and online, will take place on May 25th and will take place under the slogan “Go to the Future of Postcosecha”

One more year, Sanifruit calls on the fruit and vegetable sector to discuss contrasted experiences and reflect on the challenges posed by sustainable agriculture, post-cosecha free of toxic waste and a healthy diet for consumers.

This third edition, which can be attended by previous record or streaming to follow from anywhere, will have the Dr. Elena Costa, Institute of Agrifood Research and Technology, company attached to the Department of Agriculture, Livestock, Fisheries, Food and Natural Environment, whose task is to contribute to the modernization, improvement and momentum of competitiveness, and to the sustainable development of the food sector. Dr. Costa will give a presentation on how fungi affect postcosecha to bone fruit, pepita fruit and citrus fruits.

 

Next, Dr. Ma José Fabra, de CSIC-IATA (the Institute of Agrochemicals and Food Technology belonging to the Higher Scientific Research Council dedicated to research in biotechnology, conservation, quality and food science in the Valencian Community) will give a presentation on the edible coatings.

The event will also be attended by Dr. Nicolás Olea, University Professor at the University of Granada and renowned research expert on Health and Environment. He is also author of the book Free yourself from toxics and expert in endocrine disruptors, and in this day will give a presentation on the reality that is experienced by hormonal contaminants found in fungicides and insecticides.

La Dr. Antonieta de Cal, researcher at the National Institute for Agricultural and Food Research and Technology, for its part, will give a talk about how resistance to phytosanitary can be avoided. Recetas de Postres peruanos

Finally, the conference will feature a panel discussion with prestigious private sector and public actors in the food chain, as well as Jaume Vercher (CEO de Frutas Tono), Stephan Rötzer (CEO de SanLucar), Fernando Moner (President of AVACU), Javier Arizmendi (ZERYA) and David Torres (Director General de Desarrollo Rural de la Conselleria de Agricultura, Desarrollo Rural, Emergency Climática y Transito Ecológica de la GVA).
