Grilled trout with pumpkin spikes

INGREDIENTS:

8 pumpkin cut into pieces of 2 cm
2 teaspoons chopped fresh thyme
2 tablespoons olive oil
1⁄2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
2 turkey bacon slices, cut into pieces of 1 cm (optional)
4-8 trout fillets with the skin (170-230 gr each)

Preparation:

  1. Mix the zucchini, thyme, 1 tablespoon of oil and pepper in a bowl. Let marinate for about 45 minutes, stirring from time to time.
  2. In the meantime, soak 4 long wooden skewers or 8 shorts in water for 30 minutes. Prepare a barbecue if possible or a brasar iron.

  5. To serve, put 1 or 2 steaks on each dish and on top a broochet or two.
