Graduate, postgraduate, PhD and vocational training students in the Health Sciences sector will complete their training in the hospital centres of the group in the capital
The group Viamed Salud and Universidad CEU San Pablo they have signed a collaboration agreement between the two entities so that students of degree, postgraduate, PhD and vocational training of the different areas of Health Sciences complete their training in the two hospitals of Viamed in the city of Madrid, Viamed Santa Elena and Viamed Virgen de la Paloma.
In an event held at the Hospital Viamed Santa Elena, the agreement has been signed by the rector of the University, Rosa Visiedo, the general director of Grupo Viamed, Paulo Gonçalves, and the general director of the Fundación Universitaria San Pablo-CEU, Javier María Tello Bellosillo.
The agreement reached represents a lasting collaboration in the training of students of certain health-related teachings offered by the Universidad CEU San Pablo in their schools, which will allow them to obtain their university degrees and vocational training, to practice and develop different research and technological innovation projects and activities.
Rosa Visiedo, rector of CEU San Pablo University, has added value to this agreement since “it is in charge of our strategy to continue to offer our students of Health Sciences the best training, both theoretical and practical with the best professionals.”
For his part, Paulo Gonçalves, CEO of the Viamed Salud Group, has shown his “satisfaction for the agreement reached with one of the great university institutions in our country. We are proud to receive, in our hospitals, the students of the Health Area and that our professionals can contribute their knowledge in the theoretical-practice training of future doctors, nurses and health graduates. ”
Currently, the Viamed Salud group has the hospitals of St. Helena and Virgen de la Paloma in the capital, where the students of CEU St.Paul will be able to perform their practices. In addition, the group has eight other hospital centres located throughout the Spanish geography.
Students who will complete their studies in the Viamed centers will study different academic degrees in the field of Health Sciences in the Faculty of Medicine and Pharmacy, as well as in the Higher Polytechnic School of the CEU University San Pablo, where they obtain the different degrees of Medicine, Nursing, Physiotherapy, Genetics, Pharmacy, Nutrition, Biomedical Engineering or Biotechnology.
